DotOneGroup does not own your images, by uploading your photographs you agree and understand that they can be downloaded by anyone anywhere in the World and used in an inappropriate manner. By uploading your images we do not guarantee that they will be added to the database. We will make a reasonable attempt to inform you via the e-mail address you provided of your image/s status. By uploading your images you agree and understand that they may appear in ONE or MORE of the web portals owned by DotOneGroup. Your images may appear in a special feature as well as the standard method of viewing thumbnail to enlargement. At all times your images will clearly display your Copyright information and a link to your gallery and means of contacting you via our comment page. COPYRIGHT: You agree and understand that it is a serious infringement of copyright to upload another persons images and claim that they are your own. DotOneGroup will immediately remove ALL images where Copyright is contested, regardless of Country, State, Province, County or local juristiction. We appreciate you and the time you spend getting the perfect shot, if anyone is stealing your images let us know and we will remove them immediately. You may not upload images taken by a friend using your username and password, your friend must have an active profile and e-mail address to do so. IMAGE REQUIREMENTS: Images must be at least 1024 pixels wide and taken with the minimum of a 3 megapixel camera, or a good quality scan from a 35mm/6x4.5cm/6x6cm/6x7cm negative or transparency. Images from camera phones and or 110 negative film will not be accepted on the grounds of quality. Camera phone technology is becoming more sophisticated (7 meg sensors coming soon) so our policy may change on camera phones if the image can withstand a pixel size of 1024. COOKIES: DotOneGroup uses a session cookie whilst you visit our sites. It is an autonomous occurrence built into our software, we pay little attention to it for it is for your convenience not ours. For example if you are logged into ScotlandOne.com and are uploading photographs the system knows it is "you". However if you cross into one of our other sites, say EnglandOne.net and are continuing to upload images, without a session cookie the system will ask you for your username and password each time. Since we have four sites this would become rather annoying - so now you know what a session cookie is. EXTERNAL SITES: DotOneGroup is not responsible for any content, accuracy, quality, political, religeous connotations found on other websites. DotOneGroup cannot guarantee the reliability of the servers in which externally linked material is hosted upon. DotOneGroup provides links of relevant interest in good faith and does not imply any endorsement of the linked site, the linked site owners or any of the products advertised therein. SPAM/E-MAIL ABUSE: Any individual or business that uses the contact form on any DotOneGroup website to proliferate unwanted e-mail will be banned from all sites. This includes and without limitation, advertising products or services, personal websites, hate mail. Server logs will be taken and the offending IP address will be blocked. DotOneGroup will also register a complaint with the source Internet service provider.
